Terms and Conditions
We operate as a private chiropractic clinic offering chiropractic care and other complimentary services. Payment for these services is expected at the time of provision. We do not operate an account or credit system. Payment is expected by cash or cheque, as we currently do not have credit/debit card facilities.
The clinic is a registered provider with all major insurance providers, including Bupa and AXA PPP. The clinic policy with regards Insurance patients is that they pay the clinic after each visit and we will provide them with a receipted invoice that they submit to their insurance provider for re-imbursement. We do not accept payment directly from the insurance company. Patients therefore need to ensure that they are adequately covered for chiropractic care and that they also fulfil any criteria for re-imbursement. Some insurance companies require a GP referral before a claim can be met.
It is the patient’s responsibility to settle all fees that are owing to the clinic promptly, including insurance patients. Any outstanding fees will be recovered through legal channels if needed.
Medical reports or copies of chiropractic notes can be provided, once patient consent has been given according to current Data Protection rules. An appropriate fee may be incurred for this service. Please contact reception for details.
We currently run on an appointment basis. Therefore patients are asked to provide as much notice as possible if they are unable to attend for an appointment. Persistent late or missed appointments may incur a charge.
We operate a very strict Privacy Policy in accordance with regulations laid down by the General Chiropractic Council, Data Protection Act and rules laid down by the British Chiropractic Association. We therefore treat all patient information in strictest confidence and can assure that no patient information will ever be released to a third party without the prior written approval of the patient.
The clinic does utilize a Text messaging and email newsletter service which is run in-house. Should any patients prefer not to receive these services, please could they notify the clinic as soon as possible in writing.
